Spiritual Support

Pastoral Care services are offered to all of our patients, visitors and employees. Our Pastoral Care staff is professionally trained to bring a compassionate presence to our patients and their families, and help them regain the awareness of God in those moments of chaos and disease.

Our Pastoral Care members possess a variety of faith backgrounds and minister to all who seek the reassurance and comfort of remembering that God does not forget those whom He calls and loves as His dear children. The Pastoral Care staff members are integral members of the health care team. They are available 24 hours a day to respond to emergencies and requests for their presence. Our chapels are always open and available to all who seek a quiet place for prayer and reflection. OSF Saint Francis Medical Center prides itself on providing care for those who come and quality care of the spirit as well as the body.
