Head & Neck Cancer Program

Our Approach

Our cancer experts collaborate with you to develop a tailored treatment plan to meet your medical and emotional needs. We focus on you as a whole person, providing a patient-centered experience.

At OSF HealthCare Cancer Institute, our approach to treating head and neck cancer is to bring together an entire team of experts – including you – to collaboratively discuss the most effective treatment and how that best fits your lifestyle.

These diverse professionals come together to create an individualized head and neck cancer treatment plan that considers your diagnosis, overall health and personal circumstances.

Beyond this personalized attention from our team of specialists, we offer state-of-the-art treatments and world-renowned technology to ensure each patient receives not only a better experience – but better clinical outcomes.

You’ll be wrapped in support from the beginning, with our dedicated nurse navigators who will coordinate your appointments and connect you to resources that will improve your quality of life.

Cancers of the head and neck account for 6% of all cancers in the U.S.
