The pharmacy team at St. Francis Medical Center is pleased to offer the post graduate year two Critical Care Pharmacy Residency Program. We are a diverse team of pharmacists providing acute oversite to patient care in many areas of our hospital including the Adult ICUs (Cardiovascular, Medical, Neuro, and Surgical) as well as emergency medicine in our Level 1 Trauma center.
OSF St. Francis Medical Center Critical Care and Emergency Medicine pharmacists provide hands-on support to our PGY1 residents through precepting and code response. We are committed to providing broad experiences to equip our students and residents for their future careers. Our pharmacy team collaborates with other disciplines within our medical center including the University of Illinois Chicago College of Medicine.
OSF St. Francis Medical Center’s PGY1 and PGY2 Pediatric residencies founded in 2011 and 2012 respectively are both ASHP Accredited. The PGY2 Critical Care Pharmacy residency was established in 2024 and is ASHP Pre-Candidate accreditation status.
